$OPA on Pons

What $OPA is as a token, and how its trade fees reach the vault.

Copy Markdown

$OPA is created by the Pons launchpad on Robinhood Chain. Opaque adds nothing to the token. It is a plain ERC-20, and the pool is a set of contracts deployed around it.

What stays standard

  • No special transfer rules and no hooks in the token.
  • Wallets, explorers, exchanges and aggregators treat it like any ERC-20.
  • The pool rejects fee-on-transfer tokens, so $OPA must not charge fees on transfer. As a plain ERC-20 it does not.

Trade fees

Pons collects a creator fee on trades, on the bonding curve and in the pool after graduation. Opaque sets the creator-fee recipient to a fee harvester. The harvester is meant to send most of what it collects to buy $OPA and donate it to the vault, and the rest to the team. The split is not final.

Soon

An automated keeper routes trade fees into the vault.

What buyers see

A buyer on a curve or an exchange sees a normal token with a normal chart. Everything about Opaque shows up only when they shroud.
